Bath Depot Recently completed a project involving a bathtub to shower conversion! This time, it comes from the Irle family’s property, where a new walk-in-shower system was installed after, first, performing a complete down-to-the-studs demolition of the pre-existing space. It was increasingly difficult for the Irles to keep up with cleaning their original bathtub and surrounding area. Afterall, every year that went by, not only did the bathroom get older, but so did the Irle’s! Both Mr. and Mrs. Irle began their home remodeling journey the same as many others; they wanted to explore their options and obtain several opinions and estimates from several experts. They were not only drawn to Bath Depot due to the vast selection of materials and finishes, but more so because they provided the best price when comparing apples-to-apples. The down-to-the-studs demo work was like “a cherry on top” knowing their space would be treated for any bacteria that may have been lurking under the surfaces. The new wet space is what Mrs. Irle calls a “retreat”. The space feels bigger with more elbow room, and the non-slip shower base is an added creature comfort, too. Whether it be needed from a long day being out and about or simply the desire to take a load off and relax, the addition of a folding seat is the perfect accessory.
